Independent Living

When residents of Healthy Group Home Project turn 18, they may have the opportunity to move into our independent living home. This allows young adults who were in foster care to live on their own but still receive support and oversight like what a young person may receive from his parents. Our independent living home is located within walking distance of several grocery stores and restaurants, a gym, movie theater, and dozens of other businesses making it convenient for residents to live and work. Public transportation stops are very close to the home and Gulf Coast State College and FSU PC are a quick trolley ride down the road.
